1. Who we are

HyGRID is a workout generator platform for gyms and trainers. We’re based in the Netherlands. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: hello@hygrid.app.

2. What data we collect

From gyms and trainers (account holders):

  • Name and email address
  • Gym name and location
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we never store card details)
  • Session usage data (workout formats, duration, number of participants)

From gym members (athletes):

  • First name (optionally entered by the trainer during session setup)
  • No account, no email, no login required for athletes

Automatically:

  • Browser type and device info
  • IP address
  • Session timestamps and usage patterns

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the HyGRID service
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send product updates and relevant communications (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • To analyse usage and improve workout generation

We do not sell your data. Ever.

4. Who we share data with

  • Stripe: payment processing
  • Convex: database and backend infrastructure
  • Vercel: hosting

All processors are GDPR-compliant. We do not share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data retention

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your subscription + 1 year after cancellation
  • Session data: retained for 2 years
  • Athlete names entered during sessions: deleted after 90 days of inactivity

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain types of processing

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies required for the service to function (session authentication). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact us responsibly at hello@hygrid.app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll notify account holders of significant changes by email. The current version is always available at hygrid.app/privacy.
